Trump’s net approval rating has edged up slightly in recent tracking, reaching -19.5 as of September 11 after touching an all-time low near -20.6, according to polling averages that incorporate fresh national surveys. This modest rebound follows sustained pressure from voter dissatisfaction with economic conditions, cost-of-living trends, and trade policies, yet the latest data points indicate stabilization rather than continued erosion. Traders assign a 71 percent probability that approval rises this week, reflecting the short-term momentum visible in the most recent aggregates amid ongoing midterm dynamics and policy scrutiny. Historical patterns show presidential approval can fluctuate weekly on news flow, though structural challenges on key issues continue to weigh on the president’s standing.
