Forecast consensus from National Weather Service and private models points to a high of 99–100°F in Dallas on September 16, with clear skies, light southerly flow, and dew points near 67°F supporting strong daytime heating. This aligns with trader emphasis on the 98–99°F and 100–101°F bins, as the pattern reflects continued warm-air advection under high pressure without significant cloud cover or frontal passage to moderate temperatures. Historical September averages near 89.5°F underscore the anomalous warmth, while the all-time record of 102°F sets an upper bound that remains unlikely given stable steering patterns. Updated model runs tomorrow morning will refine exact peak readings before market resolution.
