The redacted February 2016 email to Jeffrey Epstein, which references outperforming Jeb Bush in the Iowa caucuses with a single congressional district, expresses support for Donald Trump, and notes a St. Thomas visit with scuba diving near the island, remains officially unnamed by the DOJ as of mid-August 2026. Rep. Ro Khanna’s February 12, 2026, call for unredaction under the Epstein Files Transparency Act generated brief public attention and speculation around figures such as Marco Rubio or Rand Paul, yet no authoritative confirmation has followed. Reporting and community notes have pointed to 2014 candidate Gwendolyn Beck—an Epstein associate—as the sender, supporting her modest market share, while the 71% probability on “not revealed in 2026” reflects the DOJ’s continued redactions, limited disclosure momentum, and the December 31, 2026, resolution deadline. No scheduled votes, court rulings, or new file releases have altered this equilibrium.

This market will resolve to the individual whose email account is confirmed to have sent the specified message by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.
If no individual's email account is confirmed to have sent the message by the end date, this market will resolve to "Not revealed in 2026".
The identity of the account must be revealed unambiguously, for example, through a public unredaction of the document in question, which clearly and definitively reveals the sender’s address.
Official statements regarding the sender’s identity, or any confirmation that does not involve public unredaction of the specified document, including access limited to House members, congressional committees, or other restricted parties, will qualify only if there is a broad consensus as to their truthfulness.
The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.
