Current National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance points to overnight lows in the upper 60s to low 70s for Atlanta on September 8, driven by easterly flow, partly to mostly clear skies after any early showers, and moderate humidity levels that limit radiational cooling. This setup aligns with the market's leading buckets around 68–71°F, reflecting trader assessment of the most probable minimum under the prevailing steering pattern and absence of stronger cold-air advection. Recent model runs have shown limited spread, with historical September 8 averages near 68°F providing context but recent warm nights elevating the near-term baseline. Updated forecasts and any late adjustments to dew points or wind speeds ahead of the overnight period remain the key variables that could shift exact resolution.
