Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources indicate Dallas will experience clear skies and southerly winds of 5–10 mph on September 12, 2026, limiting radiational cooling and supporting an overnight low in the upper 70s to low 80s°F. This aligns with the market's tight clustering around 80–83°F bins, reflecting consensus on minimal overnight drop from daytime highs near 100–102°F amid above-average warmth. Historical September lows average 71.5°F, but current conditions driven by persistent high pressure and Gulf moisture show little deviation from recent hot, dry patterns. Traders appear to weigh slight model differences in minimum timing and exact station readings, with cooler outcomes like 71°F or below priced as lower-probability tail risks if an unexpected frontal shift occurs before midnight.
