Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Dallas-Fort Worth points to a minimum temperature in the upper 70s to low 80s on September 6, with overnight lows near 78–83 °F under persistent high pressure and south-southeast flow. This aligns with the market’s leading outcomes at 80–81 °F (42 %) and 78–79 °F (29.5 %), reflecting the ongoing heat ridge that has kept daily minima well above the 1991–2020 September 6 average of 73.6 °F. Clear skies and light winds limit radiational cooling, while dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s support only modest overnight drops. Ensemble spreads remain narrow for the next 48 hours, though any unexpected increase in cloud cover or a slight wind shift could shave a degree or two; traders appear to assign limited weight to cooler outliers given the strong model consensus.
