Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Los Angeles on September 4 points to overnight lows in the mid-60s, driven by a persistent marine layer and light onshore flow that moderates minimum temperatures near the coast. This aligns with the historical average low of 64.5°F and recent observations showing minima of 62–66°F under similar clear-to-foggy early-September conditions. Trader consensus favoring 64–67°F ranges reflects these stable atmospheric patterns and limited variability in short-range forecasts, while lower or much higher outcomes remain less probable absent an unexpected frontal passage or strengthened offshore flow. Updated model runs and evening observations will refine the precise minimum before market resolution.
