Recent National Weather Service guidance and ensemble models indicate a Dallas high temperature centered in the mid-90s on September 2, aligning with the market's tight clustering around 94–97°F. Persistent southerly flow under a broad surface ridge supports temperatures near seasonal norms of 93–95°F, while limited moisture and 20–30% afternoon convective chances could modestly cap the peak through increased cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Minor model spreads arise from timing of any seabreeze-like boundary or diurnal heating efficiency, with official updates from the Fort Worth NWS office expected overnight to refine the final range before resolution.
