Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a Friday high near 67–70°F for San Francisco, with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies and moderate west winds after early-week marine layer moisture and light drizzle clear. This aligns with trader emphasis on the 68–71°F bins, as the cold California Current and persistent onshore flow typically cap coastal highs near seasonal norms of about 70°F. Differentiation among closely matched outcomes hinges on subtle variables including exact marine layer depth, afternoon wind strength that can enhance or suppress warming, and microclimate effects at official measurement sites versus broader urban areas. Model consensus favors mild conditions without significant offshore flow or heat advection that would push readings into the mid-70s or higher.
