Morgan Stanley’s 74% implied probability reflects its lead arranger role in Anthropic’s recently expanded $15 billion revolving credit facility, structured in tiers that mirror expected IPO economics and position the bank for the prized “lead left” bookrunner slot. Recent September 2026 reporting highlights Morgan Stanley’s investor pricing discussions and competitive edge over Goldman Sachs, which holds a stabilization agent role and 14.1% odds amid the same four-bank core syndicate that includes JPMorgan. The IPO’s shift to a mid-October roadshow after a late-September filing has concentrated attention on these established mandates, with trader consensus pricing in the banks’ track records in large tech offerings and the alignment between pre-IPO financing and underwriting selection.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
