Recent National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model runs project an overnight low in Denver on August 26 near the late-August climatological normal of 56°F, with trader consensus clustering on 58-61°F outcomes due to expected clear to partly cloudy skies and light winds promoting moderate radiative cooling at the mile-high elevation. Differentiating factors include forecast variations in boundary-layer mixing, dewpoint levels near 45-50°F, and any late-day thunderstorm remnants that could limit temperature drops below 58°F or allow brief warming. This late-summer transition period features decreasing daylight and typical diurnal ranges of 25-30°F, with model spreads creating the tight probability distribution across those bins while keeping sub-55°F or above-65°F scenarios as lower-probability outliers.
