Recent polling aggregates show President Trump's job approval rating at record lows for his second term, hovering near 38 percent with disapproval above 58 percent amid sustained public concerns over the Iran conflict and economic pressures including inflation and living costs. This trajectory, reflected in multiple surveys released over the past two weeks, drives the overwhelming trader consensus that approval will decline further this week. Weekly shifts in such ratings are typically small without major catalysts, but the absence of positive momentum on core issues leaves little room for reversal in the immediate term. Scenarios that could still alter the outcome include sudden diplomatic progress on Iran, unexpectedly strong economic data releases, or high-profile policy announcements that shift sentiment before the week's end.
