Texas's 30th congressional district remains a solidly Democratic seat heading into the November 2026 general election, reflected in trader consensus favoring the Democratic nominee at 95.5%. The open seat, vacated after incumbent Jasmine Crockett pursued a U.S. Senate bid, drew a clear Democratic primary winner in Frederick Haynes and Republican nominee Everett Jackson. The district's D+25 Partisan Voter Index, rooted in its urban Dallas demographics with strong Black and Latino voter concentrations, has produced consistent double-digit Democratic margins in recent cycles, including a 47-point presidential edge in 2024. Forecasters across outlets rate the race Solid or Safe Democratic, with projections around an 80%+ Democratic vote share. Low Republican primary turnout and limited general election competitiveness reinforce the positioning, though an unprecedented national shift or unforeseen candidate-specific event could theoretically narrow the gap.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
