Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and ensemble models show persistent high pressure and southerly flow sustaining overnight lows in the mid-70s°F for Austin on September 22, well above the 1991–2020 climatological average of 66°F. This pattern, with limited cloud cover and minimal frontal influence expected through the period, underpins the near-even market split between 67°F or below and 86°F or higher. Model consensus narrows the most probable range to 74–78°F, though small shifts in wind direction or boundary-layer moisture could alter the minimum by several degrees before resolution.
