Persistent southwest monsoon flow and associated thunderstorms are capping daytime heating in Manila ahead of September 22, with PAGASA forecasts showing partly cloudy to cloudy skies, isolated to scattered rainshowers, and highs generally in the 30–34 °C range. High humidity, widespread cloud cover, and convective activity limit solar insolation and prevent extreme maxima, aligning with climatological September averages near 32 °C. Recent model runs and official outlooks emphasize light-to-moderate southwest winds and frequent precipitation, which traders interpret as favoring 32–33 °C outcomes (combined ~71.5 % implied probability). Updated PAGASA briefings and short-range model consensus on storm timing will likely drive any near-term shifts in these market-implied odds.
