Current forecast models from multiple sources point to a September 2 high near 36–37°C in Jeddah, supporting the tight market split between the 37°C and 38°C outcomes. Northwest winds off the Red Sea are expected to moderate peak readings through marine air advection, while clear skies and typical early-September insolation maintain strong daytime heating near the historical average maximum of around 38°C. Low precipitation risk and stable pressure patterns limit variability, though small differences in model handling of sea-breeze timing or boundary-layer moisture could shift the final maximum by 1°C. Traders appear to weigh these near-term dynamical factors against climatological baselines, with implied probabilities reflecting genuine forecast uncertainty this close to resolution.
