Latest National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance point to a Saturday high near 81°F in Los Angeles, with morning low clouds and patchy fog giving way to gradual afternoon clearing under southwest flow. This setup, typical for early September marine influence, keeps readings in the upper 70s to low 80s at coastal and basin stations while limiting stronger onshore heating. Ensemble consensus and recent runs show limited spread around this value, aligning with the market’s heaviest weighting on the 80-81°F bin and supporting secondary probability on adjacent ranges. Historical September averages near 76°F provide context that current conditions sit modestly above normal but remain within routine late-summer variability. Updated NWS briefings and any late-model shifts ahead of resolution will be the key near-term inputs for traders.
