Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble guidance indicate a high near 72°F for Seattle on September 1 under partly sunny skies as a shortwave ridge lingers before an incoming trough increases clouds and onshore flow. This positions the 72–73°F bin as the market leader while the broad distribution across 68–81°F outcomes captures remaining uncertainty in marine-layer timing, exact cloud cover, and the speed of the approaching low-pressure system expected to cool temperatures midweek. Late-August ridging has supported near-normal warmth, yet variable humidity and wind shifts introduce the observed spread in trader-implied probabilities.
