**Clear skies and light winds overnight are enabling strong radiational cooling across the Denver metro, pushing the minimum temperature into a narrow range near the long-term average low of 51.6°F.** With dew points in the low-to-mid 40s and minimal cloud cover or mixing, surface temperatures can drop rapidly after sunset, favoring readings at or slightly below 52–53°F. Official NWS guidance and model consensus point to a low near 58–61°F at Denver International Airport, yet urban stations and microclimate effects often run several degrees cooler, creating the tight market split between the 52–53°F bin (50% implied probability) and 51°F or below (47%). Light southerly flow and a dry airmass limit moisture and cloud formation, while the absence of recent frontal passages keeps conditions stable. Updated evening observations and any late wind shifts will be the key data releases that resolve the outcome.
