Current National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver on September 12 point to mostly sunny skies under a high-pressure ridge, supporting afternoon highs in the low-to-mid 80s through strong solar insolation and modest downslope warming from the Rockies. Recent model runs show minor spread around 82–86°F due to subtle variations in boundary-layer mixing, low-level moisture advection, and potential afternoon cumulus development that could trim peak temperatures. Historical September averages near 80°F provide context, but the current pattern favors above-normal readings with limited precipitation risk. Updated model guidance and NWS briefings over the next 48 hours remain the key catalysts for any shifts in market-implied odds.
