Recent forecasts from official Chinese meteorological sources and international models indicate Beijing will see mostly sunny conditions on September 21, supporting a daily high near 29–30 °C amid light southerly winds and low humidity. This aligns with the late-September transition toward autumn, when average highs decline from summer peaks near 31 °C and clearer skies allow stronger daytime heating than the preceding cloudy period. Minor model spreads in peak timing and cloud cover create the tight market balance between 30 °C and 31 °C outcomes, while lower probabilities for 28 °C or 32 °C reflect limited upside from unexpected warming or downside from residual moisture. Updated numerical guidance and surface observations through September 20 will refine the exact maximum.
