**Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources indicate a high near 19°C (66°F) for San Francisco on September 21, with most projections clustering in the low-to-mid 60s°F amid typical marine layer influence.** Persistent onshore southwest winds, widespread cloud cover, and coastal upwelling are suppressing daytime warming, consistent with recent observations of a 64°F maximum at SFO on September 20. This supports the market's leading implied probabilities for 66-67°F (43.5%) and 64-65°F (27.5%), reflecting trader consensus on mild conditions without significant inland heating or clear-sky amplification. Minor model spread allows for the 20.5% chance on 68-69°F if breaks in the clouds develop, while higher bins remain low-probability given the stable pattern and historical September norms near 70°F or below. Updated NWS guidance and real-time observations will be key near-term resolution factors.
