**Forecast models and official guidance from Brazilian meteorological sources indicate a cold front arriving on September 22 will limit maximum temperatures in São Paulo to the low-to-mid 20s Celsius.** Increased cloud cover, widespread showers, and northerly-to-westerly flow associated with the front are expected to suppress daytime heating compared with recent warmer days. Multiple runs show afternoon highs most likely between 22–26 °C, with the bulk of guidance clustered near or below 24 °C. This aligns with the market’s strong 87 % implied probability for 24 °C or below. Historical September averages near 23 °C provide additional context, while the front’s timing—peaking midday to evening—further reduces the chance of brief spikes above 26 °C. Updated model runs and INMET or CGE briefings remain the key near-term catalysts.
