Official NWS guidance and model consensus point to highs near 88°F amid scattered to numerous afternoon thunderstorms, high atmospheric moisture, and variable cloud cover that can both suppress peak heating through rain-cooled air and allow brief warming in any breaks. These conditions create narrow differentiation among the leading market bins of 88-89°F, 90-91°F, and 86-87°F, with outcomes hinging on exact timing of convection and steering flow strength.
