**Persistent easterly flow and extensive cloud cover are anchoring trader sentiment around a 21–23°C high for São Paulo on September 18.** Official and ensemble model guidance from sources such as the Met Office and regional forecasts converge on daytime maxima near 22°C under mostly cloudy skies, with light to moderate easterly winds limiting diurnal warming and keeping surface temperatures below typical spring peaks. Minor differences in predicted cloud thickness and timing of any partial clearing explain the close market-implied odds, as even modest increases in insolation could push readings to 23°C while sustained overcast conditions favor 21°C. Historical September averages near 26–27°C underscore the current cooler anomaly driven by these synoptic patterns, with resolution hinging on the final observed maximum reported by INMET or equivalent authorities.
