Recent forecasts from the Korea Meteorological Administration and other models indicate rain and extensive cloud cover arriving in Busan from the morning of September 18, driven by an approaching frontal system and northeasterly flow. These conditions are expected to limit solar insolation and evaporative cooling effects, capping the daily maximum near 23–25°C despite seasonal norms closer to 26°C. High humidity around 75–80% and sustained winds of 15–20 km/h further moderate warming. Market-implied probabilities cluster tightly around 23–25°C because small differences in rainfall onset or intensity—still subject to model spread—can shift the peak by 1–2°C, with traders weighting the balance of guidance showing suppressed highs.
