Recent KMA and ensemble model guidance for Busan on September 17 points to mostly cloudy skies with northeasterly flow, supporting daytime maxima near 26–27 °C—slightly above the mid-September climatological average of about 25–26 °C—under the moderating influence of the East Sea’s sea-surface temperatures. The closely bunched market-implied odds around 27–29 °C reflect remaining uncertainty in cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing; increased afternoon insolation or lighter winds could push readings 1–2 °C higher, while thicker marine layer stratus would cap them near 25–26 °C. Updated high-resolution runs and KMA nowcasts expected in the next 24–48 hours will likely narrow the range ahead of resolution.
