**Clear skies, light easterly winds, and persistent high pressure are keeping overnight lows in Atlanta mild ahead of September 17, 2026.** Recent NWS and private forecasts show Thursday night lows clustered in the mid-to-upper 60s°F, with some guidance reaching the low 70s, aligning with the market’s tight distribution around 66–71°F bins. Highs in the low-to-mid 90s over the prior days have maintained elevated boundary-layer moisture and limited radiational cooling, while dew points in the mid-to-upper 60s further moderate overnight drops. Historical September 17 averages near 65°F provide context, yet current patterns show a modest warm anomaly without incoming fronts or significant cloud cover to alter the trajectory. Model spread in minimum temperature—driven by small differences in wind speed, cloud timing, and surface moisture—explains the even 20% pricing on the three leading outcomes. Updated NWS point forecasts and local observations over the next 48 hours will likely narrow the range before resolution.
