Recent model consensus from sources including GFS indicates a maximum temperature near 18–19°C in Amsterdam on September 20, driven by moderate westerly flow, increasing cloud cover, and scattered showers that limit daytime heating. This aligns with the late-September climatological decline from early-month averages near 20°C toward 18°C, with no strong warm advection or clear-sky amplification expected. Trader emphasis on the 19°C outcome reflects these stable forecasts and historical norms around 18.6°C for the date, while slight upside to 20–21°C would require reduced cloudiness or model shifts. Updated runs from ECMWF and similar agencies ahead of the weekend will likely refine resolution criteria tied to official station readings.
