Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to a Friday high near 70–72°F for San Francisco, aligning with the market’s leading 70–71°F and 72–73°F bins. A weakening cut-off low and gradual marine-layer compression are allowing partial clearing after morning fog, supporting modest warming from Thursday’s cooler readings while onshore flow and typical coastal stratus keep temperatures from exceeding seasonal norms around 70.8°F. Key uncertainties center on the exact timing of fog dissipation and afternoon wind speeds, which could shift the daily maximum by a degree or two. Updated NWS guidance and real-time observations tomorrow will refine these variables ahead of market resolution.
