**National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance position San Francisco’s September 22 high temperature in the upper 60s to low 70s, with the 68–70 °F range emerging as the most probable outcome.** A deepening marine layer and southwest flow have kept recent days cooler, but a gradual warming trend begins Tuesday as high pressure builds and skies turn partly cloudy. Official point forecasts center near 68–70 °F, while microclimate effects across the city and typical model spread create the observed market distribution: 68–69 °F leads at 39 % implied probability, followed by 66–67 °F (24.5 %) and 70–71 °F (20 %). Traders are weighting the consensus forecast heavily while discounting outliers, given the short time horizon and limited scope for rapid change before resolution. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion remain the key near-term catalysts.
