Recent forecasts from the National Weather Service and local models indicate scattered thunderstorms and increased cloud cover will moderate temperatures in Denver on September 15, driving the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 72–75°F. A frontal passage and northerly flow are suppressing afternoon heating after several days of 85–90°F highs, with precipitation and outflow boundaries likely limiting peak readings. This setup creates the narrow spread between the leading bins, as any delay in convective initiation could allow brief warming into the upper 70s while stronger or earlier storms favor the lower end. Historical September averages near 79°F underscore the current cooling anomaly, with updated model runs expected to refine resolution thresholds.
