National Weather Service forecasts for Houston on August 29 project a high near 95–96°F under mostly sunny skies, with only a slight afternoon storm chance and light easterly winds. This consensus from official models, supported by recent observations of persistent high pressure and typical late-summer humidity, positions the 96–97°F and 94–95°F ranges as the strongest market outcomes at combined 83% implied probability. Historical August highs averaging 94–97°F provide additional context, while minimal model spread and no incoming fronts reduce upside risk for 98°F or higher. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon observations on the 29th will refine these near-term probabilities.
