Recent forecasts from PAGASA and international models indicate Manila's September 22 high will likely reach 31–32°C under southwest monsoon influence, with 60–90% rain and thunderstorm chances producing extensive cloud cover that limits solar heating and caps peaks near seasonal norms. Persistent humidity near 75–85% and light variable winds further moderate extremes, while the urban heat island effect at the official measurement site can add 1–2°C to readings during brief afternoon breaks. Current conditions on September 20 show similar 30–32°C highs amid scattered storms, supporting trader consensus around these values; any reduction in rainfall or clearer skies could push toward 33°C, whereas sustained downpours would favor 31°C or lower.
