**Short-term forecast models from regional meteorological services and global ensembles show Panama City likely reaching a daily maximum near 29–33°C on September 8 amid the wet season’s typical convective pattern.** Afternoon thunderstorms and variable cloud cover often cap temperatures below seasonal peaks, yet breaks in cloudiness or delayed rainfall can allow readings to climb toward 34°C or higher, aligning with the market’s leading 34°C (38.5%) and 35°C+ (25.5%) outcomes. Historical September averages hover around 29–30°C, so current implied probabilities embed expectations of slightly suppressed convection or warmer boundary-layer conditions. Updated model runs and official briefings from Panama’s meteorological authorities in the next 24 hours will refine the peak-temperature outlook ahead of market resolution.
