Recent National Weather Service and model guidance points to a Saturday minimum temperature in the mid-60s Fahrenheit for Los Angeles, with forecast lows near 64–66 °F under mostly clear skies and light onshore flow. This consensus supports the closely matched market probabilities for the 64–67 °F ranges. Differentiation among those bins hinges on subtle variations in marine-layer depth, dew-point depression, and radiational cooling rates overnight; stronger southwesterly winds or residual cloud cover could limit cooling and push the minimum toward 66–67 °F, while calmer conditions and drier air favor a dip to 64–65 °F. Historical climatology for early September shows an average low near 64.5 °F, providing context for current model spreads. Updated NWS forecasts and hourly observations through dawn on September 5 will clarify the final reading.
