Recent National Weather Service and private model runs show split guidance on overnight minimum temperatures for Seattle on September 14, with some ensembles favoring mid-50s readings under lingering marine influence and partial cloud cover while others project warmer values near 60°F amid lighter winds and clearer breaks following Sunday’s rain. This divergence drives the near-even market split between sub-48°F and 66°F-plus outcomes, as traders weigh the strength of onshore flow versus any rapid clearing. Seattle’s typical mid-September low near 53°F provides context, yet short-term steering patterns and boundary-layer moisture introduce meaningful forecast spread ahead of final NWS updates.
