Forecast models from sources including the National Weather Service and private ensembles indicate a Monday low in San Francisco of 56–58 °F under mostly clear skies with light west to northwest winds, consistent with the marine layer’s moderating influence and the city’s typical early-fall climatology. This places the 56–57 °F bucket as the clear market leader at 48 % implied probability, while the 54–55 °F and sub-52 °F ranges capture residual model spread and the chance of slightly stronger onshore flow. Historical September 14 lows average near 56 °F, with recent years rarely dipping below 54 °F absent unusual cold-air advection. Traders appear to weigh official guidance heavily ahead of the overnight minimum, which will be measured at the official downtown or airport station; any late-model shift in wind or cloud cover could still nudge the exact reading within the 54–58 °F window.
