This market will resolve according to the candidate who receives the most valid votes from Hennepin County in the Democratic Primary for U.S. Senate from Minnesota, which is scheduled to be held on August 11, 2026. The named candidates will be primarily ranked by the number of valid votes received in the specified election. If two or more candidates are tied on valid votes, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the candidates' last names. This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking. If the Hennepin County results of this election are not definitively known by December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of Minnesota including the Minnesota Secretary of State and the government of Hennepin County.**Peggy Flanagan holds a strong position in the Hennepin County portion of Minnesota’s Democratic primary for the open U.S. Senate seat.** Recent statewide polling, including a late-July Public Policy Polling survey, shows her expanding a double-digit lead over Rep. Angie Craig among likely Democratic voters, driven by the Minnesota DFL’s endorsement of Flanagan and her stronger support in urban and progressive-leaning areas. Hennepin County’s Minneapolis voter base, which favors candidates with ties to local progressive networks and Native American communities, reinforces trader expectations that Flanagan will carry the county on August 11. Craig’s fundraising advantage and suburban appeal have not offset this dynamic in recent surveys or local reporting. Other listed candidates remain long shots statewide and in the county.
