Struff's 2026 clay record stands at 2-3, with his latest match a competitive second-round loss to Jiri Lehecka at the Rome Masters on May 8, showcasing higher-level form compared to Alvarez Varona's 1-4 clay slate capped by a first-round defeat at the M25 Sabadell on May 6. No head-to-head exists, but Struff's superior career clay stats (267-167) and experience outweigh the Spaniard's home-crowd edge and modest 127-106 clay ledger amid poor recent momentum. No injury concerns reported ahead of this round-of-32 clash.
