He highlighted expanding collaboration across AI chips, robotics, energy storage, and satellite connectivity—particularly the joint Terafab semiconductor project—while noting any combination would require formal corporate processes. SpaceX’s June 2026 IPO created publicly tradable shares that could enable a stock-for-stock deal, and its earlier acquisition of xAI has further aligned the companies’ AI infrastructure ambitions. Analysts cite synergies in autonomous systems and orbital data centers but note governance, valuation, and shareholder approval hurdles remain. Key near-term watchpoints include upcoming earnings calls and Terafab milestones that could clarify timelines.
