The Batman: Part II is expected to be released on February 18, 2028. This market will resolve to "Yes" if a new release date later than the one stated above is officially announced by February 17, 2028, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. A qualifying announcement must be made through official communication channels of a competent entity such as the studio, distributor, production, or a parent company, or a subsidiary, or authorized representative thereof. Resolution will be based on official statements from competent entities; however, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. The Batman: Part II’s current February 18, 2028 release date reflects Warner Bros.’ July 2026 decision to grant Matt Reeves extra post-production time after the film began principal photography in June. With cameras rolling in London and U.K. locations through year-end, and no reported production halts or script revisions since the announcement, trader consensus sees little risk of another slip. The move already repositioned the sequel into a lucrative holiday corridor similar to the 2022 original, and DC Studios co-chief James Gunn has publicly pushed back on rumors of back-to-back shooting with a third installment. Absent any late-breaking labor issues or major cast changes, the market-implied 90% odds on “No” further delay track with the film’s active status and built-in buffer.
