Recent polling for the September 20 Berlin state election shows a tight four-way contest among the Left, CDU, AfD, and Greens for the leading positions, with the SPD trailing further back. The Left has posted gains to around 20-22% in late August surveys, while the CDU under new lead candidate Stefan Evers holds steady near 18-20% despite the incumbent mayor's withdrawal. The AfD hovers at 17-18% and the Greens at 16-17%, creating fluid scenarios for second place that traders price as closely contested between the CDU and AfD. Small sample variations, low undecided rates, and limited late-campaign momentum shifts for smaller parties like the FDP and BSW keep probabilities compressed and sensitive to final turnout and district results.

This market will resolve to the political party that wins the second-greatest number of seats in the formal deliberative assembly of Berlin (Abgeordnetenhaus) as a result of this election.
If voting in the Berlin election for the Abgeordnetenhaus does not occur by December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other".
