Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Persistent monsoon rains and associated cloud cover are the dominant factors capping maximum temperatures in Lucknow around 30–32°C for September 4, aligning with the market’s heaviest weighting on 31°C (45%) and 32°C (21.5%).** A low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal region continues to steer moisture into Uttar Pradesh, sustaining overcast skies, scattered thunderstorms, and high humidity that limit solar heating. Official observations from September 2 recorded a maximum of 30.5°C (three degrees below normal) after heavy overnight rainfall, with similar suppressed readings across nearby districts. Short-range models (IMD, Met Office, and others) converge on highs of 30–33°C for September 4 amid continued 70–90% rain probabilities, while longer-term climatology shows September averages near 32–33°C before the typical post-monsoon rise. Recent model runs have not shown significant warming trends, keeping trader consensus clustered on the 30–32°C band rather than higher outliers.
