Latest model consensus from GFS and ECMWF runs positions Madrid’s September 19 maximum near 29°C under clear skies, light southeasterly winds, and stable high pressure, supporting the 56.5% market-implied probability for that exact outcome. Recent short-range forecasts show afternoon peaks of 28–29°C (82–84°F) with negligible precipitation risk and dry air masses, consistent with late-September climatology for the region. Minor spread among guidance keeps 30°C at 30% implied odds while capping lower values. Updated model cycles and official AEMET briefings over the next 48 hours will refine the precise peak before resolution.
