Current forecasts from NOAA and regional models indicate Atlanta's minimum temperature on September 2 will likely settle in the mid- to upper 70s, driven by a persistent warm high-pressure ridge delivering clear to partly cloudy skies, light easterly winds, and limited overnight radiational cooling amid elevated dew points. This setup favors the market's leading 74-75°F bin while supporting 78-79°F outcomes if cloud cover or humidity suppresses cooling further. Historical averages near 69°F underscore the anomalously warm pattern, with traders weighting the latest model consensus over longer-range uncertainty in steering currents or any late-day convection.
