Current forecasts from NWS-aligned sources place Denver's September 22 low in the low-to-mid 50s°F, aligning with the market's tight clustering around 48–55°F bins. Seasonal transition into fall reduces daytime heating while clear to partly cloudy skies overnight promote radiational cooling under light winds and low humidity typical of the Front Range. Scattered thunderstorm chances on the 22nd introduce the main uncertainty, as increased cloud cover could limit overnight temperature drops by several degrees compared to clearer scenarios. Model consensus and historical late-September diurnal ranges support this narrow band, with traders weighting the balance between potential intensification of cooling versus any moisture or wind shifts that could raise the minimum.
