Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate Mexico City's overnight low on September 20 will likely settle between 12–14°C, driving closely matched market-implied odds near 50% for those thresholds. High elevation near 2,240 meters promotes rapid nighttime radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies, while light northerly winds and scattered showers limit further drops. Historical September averages show typical minima around 12–13°C, with current conditions lacking the clear skies or cold-air advection needed for sub-10°C readings. Traders appear to weigh ensemble consensus favoring mild outcomes against residual uncertainty in exact minimum timing and localized urban effects.
