Recent polling shows the Parti Conservateur du Québec holding steady near 15-17% province-wide support ahead of the October 5 vote, with particular strength in the Quebec City region and parts of the Beauce where it leads or contends closely in multiple ridings under the first-past-the-post system. Seat projections from aggregators range from single digits to the mid-teens, reflecting variability in how efficiently PCQ votes translate amid competition from the CAQ and PQ. The spread in trader probabilities across the 8-10, 11-13, and 17+ seat bins stems from uncertainty over regional turnout, late-campaign shifts in francophone support, and the impact of candidate recruitment and platform emphasis on housing affordability, healthcare access, and reduced bureaucracy. Upcoming debates and final regional polls could narrow the range by clarifying PCQ’s path in key battlegrounds.
