Flávio Bolsonaro leads the Espírito Santo first-round market at 72% amid strong regional consolidation of right-wing support for the Liberal Party nominee ahead of the October 4 vote. His position reflects polling trends showing him competitive or ahead in Southeast states, reinforced by his July 2026 party convention and the broader Bolsonarista voter base in the region. Lula trails at 19.4% consistent with national first-round surveys where he holds an edge overall but faces tighter or reversed margins locally. Lower probabilities for candidates such as Romeu Zema, Ronaldo Caiado, and Renan Santos align with their single-digit national support, while fringe options remain minimal due to limited visibility and organizational strength. Traders appear to weigh these state-level dynamics against the polarized national contest.
